Jacob Greenstein

Jacob Greenstein participated in the Minsk ghetto resistance and joined the partisans in the Naliboki forests. After the liberation, he enlisted in the Red Army and saw action as a liaison with Polish intelligence. In 1945–1946, he helped “kibbutzim” of Holocaust survivors defending themselves against Polish marauders. After the Kielce pogrom, he shed his uniform and joined the Bricha.
