Eliezer Lidovski

Eliezer Lidovski was an activist in the Zionist Movement in Baranowicze, eastern Poland. Arrested by the Soviet authorities for his Zionist activity in 1941, Eliezer initiated the establishment of the Baranowicze ghetto underground and headed it. After an attempted uprising in the ghetto failed, he joined the partisans and fought in the forests. After joining the Red Army, he participated in the liberation of Rowne. After the liberation, he was among those who initiated the Bricha and was a member of the Nakam organization, headed by Abba Kovner.
