Michael Yitzhaki (Glebtrunk)

A member of the Brit Zion movement in Kovno, a partisan, and an organizer of the breakout from Ninth Fort murder site; liberated by Red Army forces at age twenty-five. As one of the first activists in the Bricha in Lithuania, he moved groups of orphaned children along escape routes to Romania and coordinated Bricha activity in Linz, Austria, at the crossing between the Russian and American zones.
