Dvora Yitzhaki (Friedman)

Interned in the Kovno ghetto as a young girl; concealed in a convent, she leaped from a transport and hid alone in the forest. After liberation by Red Army forces, she escaped from Lithuania and joined the Bricha in Lublin in 1944, at the age of sixteen. She served as a guide for groups of survivors along the Bricha trails in the Alps, Budapest, and a transit station in Linz, Austria.
